bike park spicak

Bikepark Špičák – a Czech spot for experienced riders

Bikepark Špičák is one of those places I wouldn’t recommend for beginners. It’s great fun for those who enjoy speed and multi-meter jumps.

bike park czarne, jelenia góra

Lower Silesian MTB Skills Parks – a list of all of them and which ones are the best

As part of the Lower Silesian MTB Skill Parks project, 18 skill parks were built across the entire voivodeship in the last 2 years. Some of them are great places to learn technique for riders at various levels, but several others are just wasted money. Where is it worth going and where not, who built them, and how much did it cost?

bike park geisskopf wallride

Bike park Geisskopf MTB Zone – the oldest bike park in Europe

The bike park is located on the slopes of Geisskopf (Geißkopf) mountain near the town of Bischofsmais, close to the Czech border. The trails are not long, ranging from about 600 meters to 2.5 kilometers in length, but they are diverse and packed with interesting features.

pumptrack w parzęczewie, łódź

The longest pumptrack in the world is in Poland

Parzęczew – a small town near Łódź. This is where the longest pumptrack in the world is located. Great fun for children, but also a great place to practice biking techniques.

bike republic solden

Bike Republic Sölden – one day is too little here

The bike park in Sölden is the highest of the Austrian bike parks and one of the largest. The trail starting at an altitude of 2600 m is breathtaking with its views and there are so many lines that one day is not enough to get to know them all.

trasa mtb na dolnym śląsku

Why Lower Silesia is the best region in Poland (or maybe in Europe) to ride MTB

Bike parks, skill parks, singletracks, unofficial enduro trails… there is everything here. No matter what level you are at, you will find something for yourself in Lower Silesia.

Bikepark Innsbruck

Bikepark Innsbruck – a solid 4 out of 5

There is an easy flow trail, there are natural enduro trails, there is a black DH trail. Something for everyone, I had a good time, but it could be better.

kitzski bike park

KitzSki Bike Trails – bike park not worth your money

There are few places I can say I don’t want to go back to, but I can say that about the bike park in Kitzbühel. The bike park is so big that one day is barely enough to ride everything, but unfortunately the trails are mostly just boring.

szczyrkowski

Bike Park Szczyrk – polish spot with trails as long as in Alps

There are few places in Poland where you can enjoy 4-7 km descents. However, it is possible in Szczyrk, where the blue and red trails are as long as the trails in the Alpine bike parks.

olbrzymy, skarbek

Olbrzymy Biking Trails – some love, some hate

Pasmo Rowerowe Olbrzymy (Giants Biking Trails) are singletracks in the Karkonosze Mountains, characterized by a lot of rocks, both on descents and uphill sections. Opinions about these biking routes vary. Some people are delighted with them, while others complain that there is no “flow”, that in some places it is impossible to ride up and that in general it is constantly going up. So is it worth visiting?
