Spanish bike park 4 Riders is a spot for those who feel confident on fast, flow trails with big jumps. Although there is a blue trail in the bike park, I personally wasn’t impressed with this location.

4 Riders Bike Park is located near the town of Berga, about 100 km north of Barcelona.

It offers 4 trails: one blue, two red and one black, with lengths from 700 m to 1.6 km.

The longest is the blue Commencal trail. It is full of high, tight berms that require good skills to ride them fast. If you can’t do that, you also won’t have enough speed to clear the tabletops. For this reason, I didn’t really like this trail. An additional difficulty for me was the washboards – instead of focusing on proper berming technique, I was constantly worried about my foot slipping off the pedal. Only towards the end of the day, once I got to know the trail well, did I start to enjoy it.

The red Send It trail has a similar character. It’s also a flow, smooth trail with berms and tabletops, but the jumps are bigger. Here too, I wasn’t able to gain enough speed to clear the jumps, and even if I could, I wouldn’t want to make such big airs. I rode it once and went back to the blue trail.

The end of the trail is more DH-style, but it looks like they are still under construction and plan to extend the flow trail all the way to the bottom.

The red Snake trail branches off from the blue trail and has a mixed character – Enduro/DH with smoothed berms. I only rode this trail once because I didn’t like it at first, but now I regret not trying it 1-2 more times. I think I could grow to like it once I knew it better.

I didn’t even try the black trail. Those big jumps are probably the end of the black run.

I did, however, try a trail outside the bike park. Molinot, 3.5 km long, is a natural trail that ends in the bike park. Nothing extraordinary, although it has a few interesting sections, and the ride to the start leads through nice scenery.

To sum up, it’s a nice spot, but I don’t recommend it for beginners. You really need to be a good rider to fully enjoy the potential of this bike park.
