Rabka Trails on Krzywoń Mountain consists of several trails, most of which are at the red level, meaning they are suitable for intermediate riders. A convenient uphill trail and interesting routes make this a place I want to return to.

The official map of mountain bike trails in Rabka-Zdrój includes two downhill trails – the blue Mącicielka and the red Zazdrośnica, as well as the uphill trail Włóczykij. However, that’s not all. There are also several unofficial trails built by local riders.

Rabka Trails, map

Włóczykij uphill trail runs partly on a gravel road and partly on a winding singletrack. The singletrack sections are routed in places where riding straight would be steep. This makes it possible to comfortably ride up to the trailhead even on a non-electric bike. Users of e-bikes can opt for a shorter, steeper route.

Rabka Trails, Włóczykij, uphill trail

The Włóczykij trail gains about 130 meters of elevation. Some unofficial trails start a bit further, about 50 meters higher.

Mącicielka is the easiest trail in the entire Rabka Trails complex. It also has a different character than the other trails. It’s a flow trail with berms and rollers/jumps, not a natural enduro trail. Riding it doesn’t require advanced skills, but clearing all the jumps does.

Zazdrośnica requires slightly more skill, but for a red trail, it’s relatively easy. There are no extremely steep sections, and the more challenging spots are marked with exclamation points. These are mostly small jumps that can be ridden slowly.

Besides Zazdrośnica, Rabka Trails features five red trails: Skrzat, Gepard, Trawers, Jack, and Killer. I haven’t had the chance to ride Killer, and I’ve only ridden the others once. That’s a pity because they’re all great. Each has smaller or larger jumps, as well as steep sections and tight turns.

The hardest trail at Rabka Trails is Old School, which features two difficult steep sections.

The second black trail is Dzika. It features large drops and gaps, which can be bypassed. Only small drops are unavoidable.

You can find all the trails on Trailforks.

The people involved in building the bike trails on Krzywoń clearly put in a lot of effort. As a result, they created exciting trails full of features, where both intermediate and more advanced riders can have fun.
