Reportedly Priečne sedlo (2352 m) is one of the most difficult trails in Tatra National Park. Exposure, chains, steepness etc… That’s why I couldn’t wait to climb there. And that’s why I was disappointed when I got there.

Sheeps, sore feet and dreams of kebab – that’s what I remembered the most from my trip to Vereda de la Estrella, one of the most popular trails in Sierra Nevada mountains. I walked 33 km with 1300 m of denivelation this day and my plans were even more ambitious.
Quéntar is quiet village 15 km from Granada. I spent there only two nights, during my journey to Sierra Nevada Mountains. It’s not the best place to stay if you think of hiking in this mountains but I recommend this if you just want to spend some time out of city.
Mulhacén (3479 m) is the highest peak in the Iberian Peninsula, located in Sierra Nevada National Park. There are a few trails leading to the summit. Some of them are easy but I chose the harder one – from Trevélez village. I almost succeeded ;)
Known for being the highest village in Spain, for ham and for wonderful hiking routes – Trevélez, the village which I visited one year ago. Read what you can expect there.
